Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. Her 12 WTA singles victories include one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. The doubles play she plays is superb and she has also won Majors during both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both in partnership with Elisemertens. In the end, she won the Sunshine Double was achieved by her and Elise in the year 2019. They both won WTA 1000s at Indian Wells & Miami. Only four women's pairs have achieved this feat. In January of 2023 she achieved her highest rank in singles. On 23rd August 2021, she climbed to number two in World rankings. That same year she took home the title at Melbourne in the following year, and then moved up to number one in the world when it comes to doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of the 2019 season and from 2018 to the end. Dieter Kindlmann also served as her coach for short periods between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach as of the start of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her heroes.
